Note that this unit is suitable for the i-mate PDA2, i-mate GSM/GPRS PocketPC and the O2 XDA II, but NOT the i-mate PDA2K or the O2 XDA IIs and NOT any other later model i-mate or O2 device. It cannot be used for the i-mate JAM, K-JAM, JASJAR, JAMin, JASJAM, Smartflip, SP JAS, JAQ etc

Although the kit has integrated echo cancellation technology, to ensure the highest call quality and reduce echos, it is important that there is maximum separation between the microphone and the audio output. If a separate loudspeaker is installed, this should typically be fitted underneath the passenger footwell, and the microphone fitted by the rear view mirror or on the drivers side above the front window. If the kit is integrated into the car audio system, then the audio output should be either from a rear (preferable) or front passenger speaker.
